Sweet Christmas

It is the season to remember Christ's birth and for me that really comes through music. Brett took me as a surprise to Pasadena Pops Christmas concert last night and it was really good. The conductor was a total nut, size zero long hair, crazy clothes. Brett and I looked at each other and knew we knew someone similar. She was animated and did a wonderful job. My mother missed her calling. :)
As a surprise the Los Angeles children's choir came and and sang a few diddy's and that was probably my favorite. Living here has it's benefits, we walked to dinner and then the concert hall. "Oh Holy Night" was especially good and now we are officially ready for Christmas.
We are off to my parents house for a bit so Merry Christmas to you! Lots of love from our sugar house to yours.

CUTE! I am glad to hear the Pasadena Pops are back together. Steve was their attorney when we lived there. Wish we could have joined you and met for dinner! Next time!

Oh, and I agree with you about music. My favorite part of getting into the spirit of things...
