jump out of this once.....Dad's watch. We never buckled her in because she would scream so much. You guessed it, she is always buckled in now. Funny she doesn't seem to enjoy her swing as much these days.
Hit her head on the ceiling. Ok this one is totally poor dad's fault. Thought it would be fun to put Sienna up on his shoulders so she could say hi to me while I was in the shower. I guess dad forgot how tall he was because all of the sudden I heard a bang and then a scream.

fall out of this once.......
I had her in her bumbo (mother-in-law calls it bimbo) on my big bathroom counter top when I was getting ready. I couldn't believe how fast she moved for that hair spray and then she fell face first on the countertop. Dang it.

fall out of this twice.....
Rookies. I did it once and so did dad. We just get into the habit of throwing her into her car seat that is attatched to the snap and go without buckling her in. She likes her freedom when we walk her around town so why would we buckle her in while walking? Problem is when we transition her from walking to the car we NEED to remember to buckle her in. She fell out onto the backseat of the car poor thing! Now I triple check every time I put her in the car!

fall off of this twice:
This is the biggest offender of all. She fell off the ottoman backwards onto the carpet when I turned around to get a toy. The second time she fell off this thing the ottoman was in the kitchen because our carpets were getting cleaned. I sat her up to feed her, opened the drawer to get a bib right behind me and kaboom she landed right on her head on the hard wood floor. I died. I felt sick all night. That was by far the worst one of all and it left a little red mark on her head. I hope she NEVER remembers any of this!!!!!

So know I have figured out what's up with all the head gear... Covering up bruises!
Too funny Scott!! See you soon in blue...or is it brown?? :)
LOL!! Those wiggly little buggers! Weston has had his share of injuries (whoops). One time Tim was buckling him into the bouncer, and accidentally pinched his skin. OW! He screamed. We felt horrible. But then life went on. :-)
Just wanted to let you know I'm dialing CPS... lol I think accidentally injuring your child just comes with being a parent, although it's definitely the worst part of the job. Fallon fell off the bed a few times, and once even wiggled under it and I couldn't find her!! Talk about scary.
Hilarious post. I love the confessions. I'm pretty sure we all have plenty, so don't feel too terrible (though the bonking her head on the ceiling one is pretty crazy!)
Love it. You definately aren't the only one with confessions or secrets. I had quit a few with Sydney. We are crossing our fingers for Ellie. I love how Natalie couldn't find Fallon. Our poor kids.
just wait til #3 -- those incidents triple! i don't know how #4 will even survive!
How come I am just now discovering that you have a blog?? :)
As for the confessions...Totally been there!! And man the guilt is terrible, but luckily they will never remember it.
I've decided it's just a rite of passage for the baby to roll off the bed. No matter how careful you are--it always happens at least once.
HAHAHAHAHA!!! I just laughed ALL the way through this one!!
