It's sad that another year has FLOWN by seriously, where does the time go.
A quick recapp of this past year:
Brett and I took a fabulous trip to Cabo San Lucas
I learned how to blog (still rough around the edges)
We survivied the earthquake (our building is on rollers so we really shook) a random picture broke and my great grandmothers perfume bottle was shattered, we were fine.
Brett was home for 5 entire weeks to help me with Sienna
We had Sienna!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am too tired to post photos right now (why does it take SOOOO long)but I am very grateful for my life, the people that we are close to, and the love that is in our home. I try not to get too cheesy because anybody can read my blog and that is why I had debated wether or not to even have a blog. I like to stay on the down low especially when it comes to being a mommy, I take it seriously and pour my heart into it but after much debate I decided that I really don't care what anybody else thinks, I'm just gonna go for it.
I have a list of things I am striving for in 09'. Thanks to my friend Amanda for posting the idea on her blog to read two pages of scripture a day! Great idea girl, I hope you don't care if I am adding that to my list!
P.S. We got a new Bishop/Bishopric today. It was so neat to see Suzy and BISHOP TERVETT be ordained today. I was touched and am so excited for them! I had no idea, no one did....she was so quiet. Who knew????? Hey, I just spoke with Suzy last week and had no clue. Hats off to you for keeping such a huge secret! I adore you Suz and know your gonna be a great Bishop's wife.
Lucy's Dance Recital - Let's Celebrate!
-
On Saturday Lucy had her very first dance recital. And she was great!
Warning: tons of photos. This post is mostly for me to remember the fun
night. Sorry f...

I think your blogging is perfect. I'm glad you jumped aboard! And I think you are a fabulous mom. I'm happy to know fun/upbeat people like you!
Happy New Year!
I love this post. I love you! And, yes, Suz will be an amazing Bishop's wife. (Oh, and Ian will be a great Bishop!)
just call me "mother tervet"-haha...i love you like my own flesh and blood sachia and we are excited too. that was so very lovely of you to post that on your own blog. i know you love me! year end is a great time for reflection and blessing counting. we realize all we have to be thankful for and i'm thankful for you!
Oh Sachia, you are definitely thebomb.com :) This is such a sweet post...thanks for sharing bits of your life with all of us. On a side note, I'm so excited for our Bishopric too! '09's gonna be a good one.
what a year you've had! i'm so glad to have friends like you in my life! ps. adorable pic of sienna on your sidebar.
Not to get all techincal on ya but your pictures take so long to work with because you have a loving husband that bought you a nice camera which takes great big pictures. Big pictures have large file sizes and if you don't reduce the size of each picture it takes time to transfer all that data. With Photoshop (that's on your computer) you can reduce the file sizes automatically and still retain your original image file sizes. We will have to get together on the phone and do it some time when Sienna isn't crying or sucking on your cell phone. :)
what a fun recap!! I really thought about doing a recap, but kept forgetting to do it, oh well...
that earthquake experience must have been scary!
look forward to more of your blogging posts! i think you are fab at it!
You can add another earthquake (so far) in your 09' recap! Your an awesome mom and a great friend. Happy 2009!
