This was probably not the best idea to take Sienna to music class right here then later go shopping.Kylee, Sienna, and I went shopping right under the fire with soot blowing freely through the air. We did end up getting some great things because not many folks were in the store. Let's hear it for the committed shoppers! ;)
This is day three of the fires and I am concerned that they aren't going to put this one out anytime soon. It was in full force with the biggest smoke clouds I have ever seen. Kylee and I could see three separate areas of the hills blazing away. I took the photo from Dana's blog the amazing photographer! I hope she doesn't mind. :)

Seriously, it was really crazy to watch the smoke billowing and growing right before our eyes. CRAZY!

That's one of the only things I don't miss about Cali!

I always freak out about fires...so it's a good thing we moved or else I'd probably be having 24/7 panic attacks! The Malibu fires were close enough... I hope they contain it soon!
