I'm packing like a mad woman to go to my folks for a bit....packing for a baby is a new experience. Do I bring her food in glass jars, dry food, snacks for the week or just the day, diapers, wipes, onesies or just her regular shirts, do I plan for cold weather or possibly a cold house, how many pairs of shoes do I bring of hers? I have packed for a weekend with my lady friends before and forgot PAJAMAS for Sienna and a few other things I'm too embarrassed to admit so she slept in a track suit. Maybe I will just go to Target when I get there, that's always my safety net. There are just way too many details to plan and this is just way too boring and tedious to go into but all I can say is "Holler" to all you mama's out there who pack for your families. It's a job! One of my friends who is sooo organized promised me she would send me her packing list she uses for her daughter....I'm waiting my dear. Rest assured her list will probably blow my mind. ;) Enjoy your Holiday ladies and gents and good luck packing.

Packing for little ones is a HUGE chore! When we went to Disneyland last year, Emerson's suitcase was bigger than mine! If you get to your parent's house and everything is complete and not forgotten, kudos to you!

My only advice is DON'T STRESS. I remember getting so worried about packing for babies. Like you said there is always Target.
My kids are off track so I was thinking about going to my mom's next week. Let's try to get together.
For what it's worth, if I'm going for longer than just a few days, I always buy a small pack of diapers and wipes upon arrival at my destination...so much easier...good luck! We went to St. George this past weekend and I packed for all 3 kids...the girls had blown through all 3 of their outfits by the next day, so I did an entire load of laundry within 24 hours...so much work.
